Long Trieu Restaurant retains its One Michelin Star in 2025, commemorating the 10th anniversary of The Reverie Saigon
At the Michelin Star Revelation ceremony held on the evening of June 5, 2025, Long Trieu Restaurant once again affirmed its standing on the global culinary map as it retained its prestigious One Michelin Star for the second consecutive year. This year’s recognition carries even greater significance as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of The Reverie Saigon, where Long Trieu played an integral role in shaping the benchmark for refined and elevated dining experiences in Vietnam.
At Long Trieu, every dish is crafted with refined simplicity. Rather than relying on elaborate seasonings, Cantonese cuisine celebrates purity of flavours, and the quality of its ingredients creating an exceptional taste. Each creation reflects a thoughtful balance between natural and well-being: cooling dishes for summer and warm for winter. For this reason, the restaurant prioritizes fresh, daily-sourced and seasonal produce to ensure that every plate presented to diners consistently achieves its finest expression.
Accompanying the restaurant’s continued success is Executive Chef Wong Fu Keung, who upholds and enhances the traditional Cantonese culinary excellence. With more than 25 years of experience, his cooking style seamlessly blends time-honoured Cantonese techniques with a contemporary spirit of innovation. Every dish he creates is meticulously crafted in both presentation and flavour – visually captivating, exceptionally balanced, and brought cultural depth.
“It is an honour to be recognized by Michelin for three consecutive years – Michelin Selected 2023, and One Michelin Star in both 2024 and 2025. My team and I are truly grateful and deeply moved, as our efforts have not only been appreciated by our guests but also recognized by an international gastronomic authority. This is a testament to Long Trieu Restaurant’s commitment to elevating culinary and guest experiences to the highest standards.” – shared Executive Chef Wong Fu Keung of Long Trieu Restaurant.
Marcelo Geraldini – Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage at The Reverie Saigon, added: “This recognition opens us new opportunities as well as challenges for Long Trieu to set even higher goals, and deliver experiences that surpass guest expectations on their journey of discovering Cantonese cuisine.”
In celebration of The Reverie Saigon’s 10th anniversary, Long Trieu also took part in the hotel’s “The Essential Elements Dinner: A Culinary Journey Through Time” series, featuring “The Heart of the Hearth” Night on August 8, 2025, and “The Convergent” Night on September 12, 2025. In addition, diners can look forward to monthly special menus and exclusively culinary experiences at Long Trieu, personally curated by Executive Chef Wong.
