Three Consecutive Years of Michelin-Star Recognition: Long Triều Reaffirms the Pinnacle of Authentic Cantonese Cuisine

At the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony held in Hanoi on June 4, Long Trieu, located on the 4th floor of The Reverie Saigon, proudly reaffirmed its culinary excellence by retaining its One MICHELIN Star for the third consecutive year, while marking its fourth recognition by the MICHELIN Guide. This distinction not only extends the restaurant’s legacy of excellence but also reflects its unwavering dedication to preserving and celebrating the artistry of authentic Cantonese cuisine.

The MICHELIN Guide 2026 marks the fourth year of the Guide’s presence in Vietnam, celebrating exceptional dining experiences and culinary mastery. This year’s ceremony also carries special historical significance as the global gastronomic community commemorates the 100th anniversary of the MICHELIN Star standard (1926–2026). Amid this landmark centennial celebration, Long Trieu’s continued retention of its MICHELIN Star stands as a testament to an outstanding dining experience that fulfills all five of the Guide’s rigorous criteria: the quality of the ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, harmony of flavours, the personality of the chef expressed in the cuisine, and consistency across the menu over time.

At Long Trieu, the essence of traditional Cantonese cuisine is preserved and elevated through the finest ingredients and masterful culinary techniques. This commitment to excellence is further strengthened under the guidance of Culinary Advisor Chef Siu Hin Chi. With over 40 years of experience and an impressive career spanning 30 MICHELIN Stars, the legendary chef’s expertise and uncompromising discipline have inspired the culinary team to transform authentic Cantonese traditions into the restaurant’s signature creations. Highlights include exquisite dim sum selections and Pan-fried crab claws with shrimp paste and caviar, to Stir-fried tiger prawn with vegetable & egg white, Honey-glazed barbecued pork, Roasted Peking duck, and Braised bird’s nest soup.

“We are immensely proud to continue retaining our MICHELIN Star, a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence demonstrated by our entire team,” shared Chef Siu Hin Chi, Culinary Advisor of Long Trieu. “This milestone once again reaffirms Long Trieu’s position at the forefront of Cantonese fine dining and underscores our commitment to elevating authentic Cantonese cuisine, transforming every guest experience into a truly distinctive culinary journey.”

Retaining its MICHELIN Star for the third consecutive year serves as a powerful testament to Long Trieu’s standing among the finest Cantonese dining destinations. Set within an elegant, imperial-inspired space accommodating up to 200 guests, including nine private dining rooms, Long Trieu continues to welcome diners with genuine warmth and gracious hospitality – where every meal unfolds as a memorable and refined culinary journey.
